We will pick you up at your hotel and start our day with a visit to the vibrant Fish Market, where you can find all kinds of fresh seafood. Outside the market, we will walk along the wharf, watching colorful fishing ships unload their morning catch, immersing ourselves in the local atmosphere.Next, we will visit the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum (closed on Mondays), which exhibits the early cultures of Ha Long, Ly, and Tran Dynasties, showcasing the rich heritage of Quang Ninh's ethnic groups. The museum highlights significant events from wartime history, the region's coal industry, and the revolutionary tradition of the working class in the mining area. Over the last 40 years, it has discovered and preserved over 10,000 artifacts, making it a treasure trove of historical information.Our next stop is the largest pagoda at the base of Bai Tho Mountain in Ha Long City. The trails here lead you through the enchanting Kim Giao Forest, filled with a rare and precious type of wood that appears on Vietnam’s “Red List” due to its remarkable ability to detect toxins. Next, we will ascend to the summit of Ngu Lam, where breathtaking panoramic views of Cat Ba and its countless mountains await, providing a perfect backdrop for stunning photographs.Continuing our journey, we will make our way to Cat Ba town, taking advantage of scenic stops along the route. One highlight will be our visit to Quan Y Cave, a natural cave that served as a war hospital during the resistance from 1960 to 1965. Hon Gai Church was destroyed by the war in 1972 but rebuilt and expanded in 1998 and is now the largest church in Quang Ninh Province.

Shore Excursion: GLAMOUR OF HA LONG BAY FROM HA LONG PORT

Pick up at Ha Long Bay port. Discover Ha Long Bay, a body of water of approximately 1,500 square kilometers in North Vietnam with 120 kilometers of coastline in the Gulf of Tonkin. Ha Long Bay means "Bay of the Descending Dragon'' in the local language. The bay consists of a dense cluster of 3000 monolithic limestone islands, each topped with thick jungle vegetation, which rise spectacularly from the ocean. Several of the islands are hollow and feature enormous caves, while others support floating villages of fishermen, who ply the shallow waters for some of the over 200 species of fish and 450 different kinds of mollusks. Embark for a dreamy cruise going around the bay with thousands of limestone mountains. Cruising through the emerald water past the Cho Da - Dog Stone and the Dinh Huong Islet (Incense Burner Islet) which consists of only one huge stone in the shape of an incense burner, whose four pins beneath only visible when the tide is low. Afterwards, we will visit the Fighting-Rooster Islets and the Thien Cung Cave (Heaven Palace Cave) to see the beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. within. The way up to Thien Cung Cave is via a winding pathway, surrounded by thick jungle. The cave is a dry cave and houses a complex inner structure with high ceilings.
