Itinerary
Day 1
Pickup from your Antalya hotel (pickup time confirmed the day before). Total tour duration is approximately 3 hours 30 minutes (start 08:30). The order of visits follows the local route and includes short transfers between stops; the optional boat trip from the Old Harbour may be skipped if time or weather does not allow.
Konyaaltı panorama (Kalekapısı)
Short stop at the Konyaaltı panorama point for coastal views over Konyaaltı Beach and the Taurus range.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring a light jacket in spring mornings; the breeze on the cliff can be cool.
- Best couple photo spot is at the viewpoint benches facing west — arrive early to avoid crowds.
- Watch your step near cliff edges; stay behind railings and use marked paths.
Hadrian's Gate (Üçkapılar)
Visit the Roman triumphal arch and immediate surroundings at the entrance to Antalya's Old Town.
Tips from local experts:
- There are stone steps and uneven pavement around the arch — wear comfortable shoes.
- The arch is best photographed from the street center; arrive before tour buses for clear shots.
- If you want a quieter photo, turn into the first side street parallel to the gate where traffic is lighter.
Kaleiçi (Old Town) stroll
A guided walk through Kaleiçi’s cobbled lanes, historic houses, small shops and mosques. Time to browse local handicrafts and traditional sweets.
Tips from local experts:
- Kaleiçi’s streets are mostly cobbled and can be narrow — keep belongings close and use handrails on slopes.
- If you look for local souvenirs, seek small family-run shops on side streets rather than the main thoroughfare for authentic crafts.
- Plan 20 minutes for an easy-paced stroll; benches and small cafés are available if you wish to sit.
Antalya Old Harbour (optional short boat view)
Short harbour-side stop at the Old Harbour; a short optional boat trip from here is possible but not included as standard.
Tips from local experts:
- The boat trip is optional and depends on weather and time; please tell your guide if you prefer to join or remain onshore.
- Harbour piers can be slippery when wet — hold hands and use railings for safety.
- If you skip the boat, use this time to enjoy a seaside coffee at a harbour-side café together.
Lower Düden Waterfalls (sea outlet)
View the dramatic Lower Düden Waterfalls where the water drops off cliffs into the Mediterranean (sea-facing viewpoint).
Tips from local experts:
- The sea-facing viewpoint can be misty — protect cameras and phones with a small plastic bag or cloth.
- There are steps and railings to observation points; keep to marked areas for safety.
- Restrooms and small kiosks are nearby on the public promenade; use them before continuing the route.
Düden Waterfalls area (Upper/nearby)
Short visit in the Düden waterfalls area to see the river-fed falls and nearby green spaces described in the itinerary.
Tips from local experts:
- Paths near the falls can be damp and uneven — wear shoes with good grip.
- If you prefer quieter spots, follow the paths a short distance from the main viewpoint for less crowding.
- Bring tissues or hand sanitizer; some smaller stops do not have fully serviced facilities.
Tünektepe Cable Car (Tünektepe Teleferik) — subject to operation
A short cable car descent/ascent to enjoy panoramic views over Antalya and Konyaaltı. If the cable car is closed for weather or maintenance it will be replaced with time in the city centre.
Tips from local experts:
- Cable car operation is weather-dependent; your guide will confirm on the morning of travel.
- The cable car cabin can be small — keep carry-on bags close and limit large luggage.
- If you want a photo of the skyline, stand on the sea-facing side of the cabin; arrive on time to avoid queues.
