Hotel La Pace — Aperitivo, Corner Museum & Gustav Wine Tasting
Meet at Hotel La Pace for a 1 hour 45 minute illustrated aperitivo experience. The host will present original maps, photos and video material about the Battle of Cassino and show memorabilia in the hotel's corner museum. Guests are served a finger-food aperitivo of local cheeses and other regional products while tasting the Gustav Wine. Non-alcoholic drinks are available from the hotel bar. The venue provides views toward the Abbey of Monte Cassino. Wheelchair access is available at the hotel.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive 5–10 minutes early and ask for a window/terrace seat to enjoy the view toward the Abbey of Monte Cassino.
- If you have family photos, letters or names connected to the battle, bring printed copies or a phone/tablet with images — the host can help identify and discuss them.
- Notify the host on arrival of any dietary restrictions so the kitchen can offer suitable non-alcoholic drinks or alternative finger-foods.
