Itinerary
Day 1
Meet in Punat harbour for boarding and a full 8-hour cruise to Plavnik Island and the wild bays of Krk. The trip includes guided cruising, swim stops (including the blue cave area), a shore-served grilled lunch on Plavnik, and time to visit the wild bays before returning to Punat.
Boarding & Plavnik Island discovery (blue cave, griffon vultures, swim, shore lunch)
Meet at the boat in Punat, board and cruise to Plavnik Island. While exploring the Plavnik area you will swim near the blue cave (entry from boat), observe griffon vultures from the boat, and disembark to have the all-inclusive grilled lunch served ashore in Plavnik's forest. Menu options: fish, meat, or vegetarian. Life vests and toilet facilities are available on board.
Tips from local experts:
- Wear sturdy water shoes for rocky shore landings on Plavnik and for entering/exiting the boat at shallow coves.
- Bring a quick-dry towel and a change of clothes; basic restroom facilities are on board but there are no full changing rooms on the island.
- If you get prone to motion sickness, take medication at least 30–60 minutes before boarding; sit forward on deck during transit for the steadiest ride.
Wild bays of Krk: cruising and final swim stops
After lunch, continue cruising along Krk's wild bays that are only accessible by boat. Multiple short stops for swimming and snorkeling (snorkel gear not included) are scheduled before the return cruise to Punat. Enjoy relaxed swimming and open-deck social time as the pirate ship may set its sails when wind permits.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring reef-safe sunscreen and a hat — much of the time is spent on open deck with limited shade.
- Snorkelling equipment is not included — if you want to snorkel, bring your own mask/snorkel or check availability with the operator before departure.
- Keep personal items in a small dry bag during swim stops; the crew will advise safe spots to leave belongings on board.
