Meeting, boarding and departure — Obala (Punat)
Arrive at the meeting point in Punat (Obala). Boarding, passenger briefing, safety briefing and settle in. Pickup from agreed local pick-up points (Hostel Kantun pickup noted by operator) is provided where arranged.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for boarding and a brief safety talk — the start time is 10:30.
- If you drive, keep keys and essential items in a small dry bag; the operator notes free parking is available when pickup from Hostel Kantun is arranged.
- Bring sunscreen, a hat and a light towel for children — shaded seating on board is limited.
Scenic cruise to Plavnik — swim in blue cave, lunch in a bay, griffon vulture viewing
Cruise to Plavnik Island for sightseeing and marine activities: swim at a blue-cave area (safe, supervised stops), snorkeling with provided equipment, and a sit-down full meal served in a scenic bay (vegetarian, fish, or meat menu must be specified for each passenger). During the Plavnik stop there will be time for short guided observation of griffon vulture habitats from the boat or designated viewing areas.
Tips from local experts:
- Confirm each passenger’s meal choice (vegetarian / fish / meat) before boarding — operator requires menu selections for every person, including children.
- Children should wear life jackets while on deck and during entry/exit from the boat; request sizes when boarding if needed.
- Keep small valuables in a waterproof bag while swimming; phones and cameras are best kept on board in a dry storage area.
Wild bays of Krk Island — additional swims and snorkeling
Visit several secluded bays on Krk Island that are accessible only by boat. Time for snorkeling, a relaxed swim, and final waterfront relaxation before heading back to Punat.
Tips from local experts:
- Wear fins and masks provided for snorkeling; consider bringing a child-size mask if needed and request infant/child equipment in advance.
- Expect short, unassisted ladder-style boat entries at some bays — bring water shoes for stable footing.
- Use biodegradable sunscreen and avoid leaving trash on beaches; the operator will have bins on board for disposal.
Return to Punat — disembark and drop-off
Relaxing cruise back to Punat with time to collect belongings, disembark and transfer guests to arranged drop-off/pickup points. The operator returns guests to their original pickup location where arranged.
Tips from local experts:
- Keep your booking and any personal ID accessible for check-out at disembarkation.
- Collect any rented snorkeling gear from the crew before leaving the boat to avoid lost-item handling.
- If you parked under operator’s arranged parking, confirm your vehicle location with the crew before leaving the meeting area.
