Itinerary
Day 1
Afternoon meet, 2.5-hour Lost Vegas coach tour visiting sites tied to Sinatra, Elvis and Liberace, then return to Alexis Park for your chosen tribute show in the evening.
Meet & Check‑in — Box Office at Alexis Park Resort Hotel
Arrive at Alexis Park Resort Hotel to check in at the Box Office in the hotel lobby. Free parking available at Alexis Park if you arrive by car. Please bring photo ID for show entry.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring a screenshot of your booking QR/code and a photo ID — show entry may require both.
- Alexis Park offers free self-parking; park close to the main lobby for the shortest walk to the Box Office.
- If you're running late, text your group then head straight to the Box Office — they hold tickets until tour departure.
Depart on Luxury Coach (transfer to first stop)
Board the air‑conditioned luxury coach and meet your guide. Head east toward Tropicana Avenue as the guide sets the scene with Rat Pack era stories and the curated soundtrack.
Tips from local experts:
- Sit on the right side of the coach for the best views heading east toward Tropicana and the Strip.
- Keep your souvenir guidebook handy — it's a great conversation starter for group photos on the coach.
- Ask the guide for a quick restroom stop if your group needs one before the first drive‑by; they can usually accommodate.
Liberace's Tivoli Gardens location — Drive‑by commentary
Drive past the former site of Liberace’s Tivoli Gardens restaurant at 1775 E Tropicana Ave. Your guide explains Liberace’s showmanship, the restaurant’s lavish design and how entertainers shaped Vegas culture.
Tips from local experts:
- Have one person on the window side ready for a quick exterior photo; it’s a drive‑by spot so you’ll get only a few minutes.
- If your group wants to explore nearby food/drink afterwards, ask the guide for a local deli or cocktail spot recommendation on Tropicana.
- This is a good time to trade stories: friends can use the guidebook to match vintage photos with what you’re seeing now.
National Golf Course & Paradise Palms — Neighborhood drive
Cruise through the exclusive National Golf Course area and Paradise Palms neighborhood where Rat Pack members and entertainers kept homes — guide narrates famous anecdotes about Sinatra, Dean Martin and others.
Tips from local experts:
- Ask your guide for the best street names to remember — they make great GPS pins if you want to revisit the neighborhood later.
- Windows down (weather permitting) gives better audio for the guide’s stories and more atmospheric photos for your group feed.
- If anyone in your group golfs, note the nearby Las Vegas National Golf Club — a classic course with vintage ties worth a separate morning visit.
Transfer to Downtown — scenic drive toward Fremont Street
We’ll travel north toward downtown Las Vegas. The guide highlights vintage signs, the Huntridge Theater site and how downtown’s neon history contrasts with the modern Strip.
Tips from local experts:
- Sit on the left side of the coach for a clearer view of downtown landmarks as you approach.
- If your group wants to split after the tour and explore Fremont Street, ask the guide where to hop off safely.
- Keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer handy — downtown spots are great for quick food stops after the tour.
El Cortez — vintage casino drive‑through
Drive through and get an up‑close look at El Cortez, one of Las Vegas’ oldest continuously operating casinos (since 1941). The guide discusses its mob-era history and surviving vintage charm.
Tips from local experts:
- Ask the guide which side of the coach offers the best view of the El Cortez façade for photos.
- If your group loves vintage signage, note the smaller neon details here — great for close-up smartphone shots.
- This stop is a drive‑through; if your group wants a longer downtown visit, the guide can advise on where to return after the show.
The Mob Museum & Gold & Silver Pawn — drive past commentary
Pass The Mob Museum (historic 1933 federal courthouse) and the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop as the guide outlines organized‑crime hearings and pop‑culture ties to Las Vegas history.
Tips from local experts:
- If your group wants to return, The Mob Museum has late hours some evenings — it’s a fun follow-up for history buffs.
- Pawn Stars fans should note the pawn shop’s best photo angle from the coach — your guide will point it out.
- Group members with limited mobility: remain on the coach for this drive‑by; the guide will note fully accessible places to explore later.
Moulin Rouge site — civil‑rights landmark stop (drive‑by)
Visit the site of the historical Moulin Rouge (900 W Bonanza Rd), the first integrated casino in America. Your guide explains its role in desegregation and why its legacy matters to Vegas history.
Tips from local experts:
- Have one or two people ready to step off the coach briefly for a quick group photo — this stop is historically significant and photogenic.
- Ask the guide for the short reading excerpt from the souvenir guidebook about the 1960 agreement — it adds depth to photos for social shares.
- If anyone wants more, your guide can suggest the local neighborhood café for a coffee while you wait for the coach.
Las Vegas Gateway — photo stop and stretch
Stop and get out for photos at the Las Vegas Gateway (1810 S Las Vegas Blvd) — a retro‑style downtown gateway featuring showgirl statues and vintage‑inspired decor, perfect for group shots.
Tips from local experts:
- Golden hour lighting in spring (early evening) flatters group photos — grab the best angles facing west toward the Strip.
- Bring a lightweight jacket; coastal desert evenings can be breezy after the coach doors open.
- Look for the guide’s suggested selfie frame — they’ll help position your group for Instagram‑ready photos.
Strip Legends extension — pass by Sands & Dunes sites (time permitting)
If time allows we’ll continue south along the Strip to pass the former Sands Hotel site (now The Venetian) and the former Dunes location (now Bellagio) so you can contrast old Vegas icons with the modern skyline and Sphere.
Tips from local experts:
- Right‑side seats offer better views of Sands/ Venetian facades when heading south; plan seating swaps among friends if you want the prime shots.
- Use this short stretch to compare vintage vs modern Vegas in your photos — include the Sphere if visible for a striking contrast.
- If you want to explore the Venetian or Bellagio later, note them now and ask the guide for a quick recommended bar or restaurant near either property.
Westgate (International Hotel) — Elvis history stop
Drive past Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino (3000 Paradise Rd), the former International Hotel where Elvis performed hundreds of sold‑out shows; the guide recounts the Elvis residency legacy.
Tips from local experts:
- Elvis fans: have your camera ready for the Westgate marquee and the statue/plaques that commemorate his residency.
- This stop is a short curbside pause — coordinate quickly if you want a group shot with the resort façade in the background.
- If your crew is into music memorabilia, ask the guide about local vintage record shops nearby for post‑tour browsing.
Return to Alexis Park — debrief & quick break before the show
Head back to Alexis Park Resort Hotel. Use this time to freshen up, grab a drink, or purchase premium show upgrades before the performance.
Tips from local experts:
- If your group pre‑booked premium seating, stop by the Box Office on return to confirm seat locations and pick up physical tickets.
- Plan a quick 20‑minute refresh — restroom lines at showtime can get long, so arrive early to the showroom if you want bar service before the curtain.
- For groups who want a pre‑show toast, ask the Box Office where the closest lounge is for a 10–15 minute cocktail.
Showtime — Sinatra Live! Starring Michael Sinatra (sample 7:00pm show)
Enjoy your included general‑admission ticket for the selected tribute show in Alexis Park’s Modern Showrooms. (Show selection is made at booking — this example shows the 7:00pm Sinatra performance; you may have chosen 6pm Elvis or 8pm Motown.)
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive at least 20 minutes before curtain to find group seating together and to grab pre‑show drinks at the showroom bar.
- For the best group photos, ask the usher about lobby lighting after the show — many groups like the vintage set pieces for post‑show photos.
- If you purchased premium seating, show your premium voucher at the entrance to be escorted to your reserved seats and avoid queues.
