Itinerary
Day 1
Evening rooftop crawl through El Poblado & Provenza with VIP access. Official tour time shown: 20:00 start (there is also a 21:30 join option). Total official duration ~4 h 30 min. After the official finish you can continue to the mega-clubs with the group.
Meet & Check-in — Haven Hotel (front desk) — Welcome + quick briefing
Meet your bilingual guide at the Haven Hotel bottom bar/front desk. Guide will confirm names, hand out the digital map, explain the dress code and distribute the included free empanada and first shot. Look for the guide (green blinking light).
Tips from local experts:
- Bring a physical ID (required by venues) and a phone with battery for the WhatsApp group — the guide uses live location pings to manage late arrivals.
- If you’re hungry, eat the included empanada here — it’s a great pocket snack to keep you energized for the crawl.
- Small groups: ask to join the same table as other friends so you can sit together for the first 10–15 minutes while the group forms.
Haven Hotel 360 Rooftop — Rooftop cocktail & skyline photos
Quick elevator up to the hotel rooftop for panoramic views of El Poblado and Medellín at night. Enjoy a welcome cocktail (included) while the guide takes group photos and introduces the night's route.
Tips from local experts:
- Golden-hour vibes: arrive on time to catch the sunset-to-nightlight transition — rooftops get best light early in the tour.
- Ask the bartender for a local cocktail recommendation (try a Medellín-style gin tonic or a passion-fruit mix) — it’s a great icebreaker for groups.
- Keep your jacket or light layer — rooftops can be breezy at night; small bags are easiest to manage in busy bar areas.
Walk / short transfer to La Deriva Rooftop
Short walk through El Poblado streets toward La Deriva rooftop — guide leads the group and handles VIP entry.
Tips from local experts:
- Use the group WhatsApp if you fall behind — guides update live locations for easy catch-up.
- Walking is short (flat) — wear comfortable shoes for the night but keep it stylish for venue dress codes.
- Keep valuables in front pockets or zipped bag; stick with a buddy for safety in nightlife areas.
La Deriva Rooftop — Trendy rooftop bar set-piece
Stylish rooftop with curated music and cocktails. Expect social vibes, rooftop views and the chance to mingle with locals and other tour guests.
Tips from local experts:
- Ask the guide for the VIP table — it usually includes a complimentary shot and faster service for groups.
- La Deriva is great for group photos — step slightly back near the rail for skyline shots (avoid blocking walkways).
- Split rounds: order a couple of shared cocktails to sample local flavors and keep costs down for the group.
Transfer to ENE Rooftop (short walk)
Guide walks the group down a lively El Poblado block to the next rooftop — short transfer with local street energy.
Tips from local experts:
- Watch for scooter and taxi traffic on sidewalks — stay together as a group when crossing streets.
- If you want a smoke break or quick freshen-up, use this transfer window (2–3 minutes).
- Keep an eye out for local snack stands if you want another bite — small empanadas and arepas are common nearby.
ENE Rooftop — Vibrant rooftop with DJ sound
Stylish, energetic rooftop with view and danceable music — a popular stop for photos and mingling. Guide secures VIP access and a complimentary shot.
Tips from local experts:
- If you want to dance, move toward the DJ side early — crowds shift quickly once the beat drops.
- Order something light and shareable if you’re still peckish — it keeps your energy up without slowing the crawl.
- Tip the staff courteously for fast service; small tips go a long way in securing quick drink refills for groups.
Transfer to Teatro Victoria
Short walk to Teatro Victoria — the guide gives a quick background on the venue and what to expect inside (music/performances).
Tips from local experts:
- Teatro Victoria sometimes has themed nights — ask the guide if tonight’s lineup has a special DJ to tailor where you’ll end later.
- Use this short break to rehydrate — sip water before heading into louder venues.
- Hold onto the group leader’s number in case you want to split off and rejoin at La House or the super-clubs later.
Teatro Victoria — Theatrical nightlife stop with live energy
A vibrant venue with a theatrical flair and a mix of live music and DJs — expect dynamic lighting and performance-style elements.
Tips from local experts:
- Great photo ops here — quick group photos near the venue façade before entering make for memorable shots.
- If you’re sensitive to loud volumes, stand toward the outer areas where sound is less intense.
- Ask the guide for the fastest restroom options — peak times can have lines, and guides know the quickest stalls.
La House Provenza — Final official stop (tour wraps here with choices)
The tour’s Provenza centerpiece: dancing, mixed music and the guide’s final call. At ~23:15 the official crawl wraps; guests can either stay in Provenza or join the guide for VIP access to the super-clubs.
Tips from local experts:
- At 23:15 the guide will announce who’s continuing to the super-clubs — speak up early if you want to join the afterparty transfer.
- Provenza has many late-night food vendors — great place to grab a 2nd empanada or arepa if you’re still hungry.
- Photo challenge: snap a candid group dance photo — later you can swap photos with other guests via the guide’s shared album.
Optional afterparty — Transfer to Super Clubs (Salón Amador / Miranda area)
For groups continuing after the official tour: VIP transfer/escort to the super-club area (Salón Amador / Miranda Disco). Guide assists with skip-the-line access and club selection based on music preference (Reggaetón, techno). This is the unofficial afterparty portion; entrance policies vary by club and time.
Tips from local experts:
- Ask the guide which club fits your vibe (Miranda for reggaetón; Salon Amador for large-format events) — different clubs have different crowds.
- Clubs often check IDs and enforce dress codes — men: no sandals/shorts; women: smart-casual. Keep your ID on you at all times.
- Consider splitting taxis on the way home using ride apps for safety and cost-sharing; the guide can help coordinate group rides.
