Day 1 : Merzouga – Oasis – Fossiles - Saf Saf OasisToday your big KTM-Adventure starts! Morning pick up at your accommodation in Merzouga or in the village center/at the bus stop. We will drive across the biggest and highest red sand dunes in Southeast Morocco, named Erg Chebbi. Discover the Oasis of Tsardmine, the Oasis of Azrkam and Saf Saf. Pic nic lunch during the day. In the evening, you relax and enjoy your dinner in your Riad in Merzouga or Hassilabied. Day 2 : Merzouga – M'fis mines – Hugar Mountain – Bgaa – Dunes of ZnigiAfter a typical breakfast in your Riad, we will drive around 15 km into the dunes until we reach the Mines of M'fis. In those black Khol mines, lead and zinc were extracted which were used as Khol for shaping the eyes. The work in the mines was extremely hard due to the high temperatures during the day. After the visit, we will drive further through the desert to get to Hugar mountain, where we will have lunch at a local Berber family's home. You can explore how they live in their tents with their goats, sheep and working donkeys. Learn how to prepare a Berber Pizza on the fire and enjoy the meal at their home.
