Itinerary
Day 1
Morning departure option — pickup in Paphos, transfer to Latchi Harbour, Blue Lagoon cruise (2h30), return to Paphos and optional light lunch by the harbour.
Meet at Paphos meeting point — Kings Avenue Mall (Hotel pickup hub)
Arrive at the designated meeting point so the driver can collect guests from the same pick‑up run. Please arrive 10 minutes early; the vehicle will display the EOS TOURS logo.
Tips from local experts:
- If your accommodation is listed with the operator you'll get an exact pickup time — if not, Kings Avenue Mall is a convenient central meeting point with toilets and shade for families.
- Bring a small day bag with swimwear and a change of clothes for each child — boarding is done in dry clothes only.
- Label children’s items (towels/snorkel masks) with a name or sticker — crews often gather items at boarding and it's easy to mix them up.
Air-conditioned bus transfer: Paphos → Latchi Harbour
Comfortable coach drive along the coast into the Akamas area. Driver may make a short comfort stop en route if needed for families.
Tips from local experts:
- Expect roughly a 50–60 minute drive; bring motion‑sickness bands or any necessary medication for children who get travel sick.
- Use the travel time to apply reef‑safe sunscreen (SPF 30+) to children — easier than doing it on a busy quay.
- Keep a spare plastic bag for damp swimsuits and a zip pouch for passports/phones so they stay dry and visible during transfer.
Latchi Harbour — boarding & safety briefing
Arrive at Latchi Harbour, brief boarding and life‑jacket fitting. Crew will explain swim stops, waterslide use and where the glass‑bottom viewing area is.
Tips from local experts:
- Make sure children try on life jackets during the briefing — sizes are usually available for toddlers; tell staff ages to get proper fit.
- Put water‑shoes or non‑slip sandals on kids for safe boarding from the quay and when moving on the boat’s deck.
- Take a quick family photo on the quay (good lighting) — it’s easier than trying to get everyone ready once on board.
Blue Lagoon cruise: sightseeing, swimming & snorkelling (approx. 2 h 30 m)
Board the boat and cruise along the Akamas coastline to the Blue Lagoon. Stop for swimming, snorkelling (masks provided), and slides; enjoy on‑board seasonal fruit and juices while children rest in shaded areas.
Tips from local experts:
- Blue Lagoon waters are usually calm in June — a great time for first snorkel experiences; children 3+ can enjoy with life jackets and a supervising adult.
- Choose shaded deck space for younger children between swims — sun in midday summer can be strong; rotate children to avoid overexposure.
- Use the glass‑bottom section early in the cruise to show kids fish without getting them into the water — a gentle intro for hesitant swimmers.
Return bus transfer: Latchi Harbour → Paphos (drop‑off)
After the cruise the coach returns to Paphos. Expect a comfortable drive back with arrival at the planned drop‑off(s) in Paphos near the harbour / central hotels.
Tips from local experts:
- Change children into dry clothes before boarding the bus — it keeps the vehicle dry and makes the ride home more comfortable.
- Plan a quiet rest on the drive back; hand out a light snack (avoid sugary items that make kids restless after swimming).
- Confirm your preferred drop‑off location with the driver when boarding the bus so the drop can be arranged for your hotel or a central spot.
Finish & optional light lunch near Paphos Harbour (family-friendly)
End of tour. If you wish, enjoy a relaxed lunch by Paphos Harbour — many tavernas offer children’s portions and seafront views for easy supervision.
Tips from local experts:
- Choose a tavern with outdoor seating by the harbour so kids can watch boats while you eat — ask for a high chair when reserving.
- Order simple grilled fish, fries and salads for a family-friendly meal; many spots will accommodate food allergies if asked.
- Bring a small towel and change of clothes in case little ones want one last paddle at the harbour’s shallow stones — shoes recommended.
