Itinerary
Day 1
Meet at CC's Hideaway — briefing & waiver
Meet your guide in the CC's Hideaway lobby for a short safety briefing, equipment distribution and waiver signing before departure.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive 10 minutes early so the group can depart on time; bring photo ID for registration.
- Wear swimwear under your clothes for convenience; pack a dry change of clothes in a small daypack.
- Light sunscreen and a hat are useful at the meeting point — the hotel has shaded lobby areas.
Kayaking — Bang Rong Pier (self-paddle)
Self-paddle kayak through the peaceful Bang Rong mangrove forest. Navigate narrow waterways and look for mudskippers, birds and occasional monkeys while your guide provides local commentary.
Tips from local experts:
- Wear quick-dry clothing and shoes with grip (water shoes or sandals); expect to get wet during the paddle.
- Bring a small waterproof pouch for your phone and a secure strap for any camera; loose items can be lost in the mangroves.
- Follow the guide's safety briefing — paddle at an easy pace and stay with the group in narrow channels.
Lunch — Fashi by Krua Klangdong (authentic Thai lunch)
Enjoy an authentic Thai lunch at a local restaurant on the Phang Nga mainland to recharge for the afternoon.
Tips from local experts:
- Inform the guide of any dietaries or allergies before ordering so the kitchen can accommodate local dishes.
- Cash is commonly accepted at smaller local restaurants; keep small change for quick service.
- Try a shared dish to sample local flavors — portions are often family-style and suitable for a group to share.
Short stop — Wat Khao Waterfall
A brief roadside stop at Wat Khao Waterfall area en route to Ton Phrai; a short pause to stretch and enjoy local scenery.
Tips from local experts:
- This is a short 10–15 minute stop; keep belongings with you and step carefully on wet or uneven ground.
- If you plan to take photos, have your camera or phone ready — the stop is brief to keep the schedule.
- Apply insect repellent if you plan to step into vegetation; there may be uneven path surfaces.
Jungle trek — Ton Phrai Waterfall
Moderate trek through dense rainforest to Ton Phrai Waterfall. Spend time relaxing by the multi-tiered falls and, if conditions allow, cool off with a swim in the pools.
Tips from local experts:
- Wear sturdy shoes suitable for a rainforest trek and bring a small towel; paths can be muddy and slippery after rain.
- Guard against leeches and insects by wearing long, lightweight socks or using repellent on lower legs.
- Keep electronics in waterproof protection while near the falls; there will be time for photos but watch footing around wet rocks.
Relaxation — Hotsprings Beach Resort & SPA
Soak and rejuvenate in mineral-rich hot spring pools at the resort. Alternate between the warm pools, jacuzzi and the ice-cold pool; towels, showers and lockers are available at the facility.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring your swimsuit and flip-flops; towels are provided but keep a small dry bag for valuables.
- Use the lockers and showers provided at the resort to change after swimming; lockers may require a small deposit.
- Hydrate between hot and cold dips — fresh coconut or drinking water will be available at the pool bar.
Sunset — Natai Beach
End the day on the soft white sand of Natai Beach and watch the sunset over the Andaman Sea. Time at the beach includes short swim and freshen-up options.
Tips from local experts:
- Check the sunset time with your guide; arrive a few minutes early for the best viewpoint and photos.
- Bring a light cover-up or windbreaker — temperatures can drop slightly after sunset near the coast.
- Public showers are typically available near the beach; keep a small towel and a dry change of clothes for the return trip.
Return to CC's Hideaway — tour end and drop-off
Transfer back to CC's Hideaway. Expect arrival between 20:30 and 21:00 depending on traffic.
Tips from local experts:
- Keep any valuables and wet items in a separate bag for the transfer; the guide will confirm the expected arrival window.
- If you need a later drop-off outside the included area, inform the guide in advance so timing can be adjusted where possible.
- Collect any personal items from the guide before leaving the vehicle to avoid leaving belongings behind.
