Faliraki Rhodes Greece
Main beach time in Faliraki: relaxed family beach session on the shallow sandy shore. Use this time for swimming, supervising children in the shallow water, visiting beach bars or letting kids enjoy nearby play activities. Total allocated time in Faliraki is 5 hours (within the full 5.5-hour tour).
Tips from local experts:
- Bring sunscreen, a hat and a change of clothes; shade is limited on parts of the beach.
- Bring small coins or a card—some beach bars and play venues accept cards, but smaller kiosks may be cash-only.
- Public toilets and seasonal lifeguard points exist near the central beach; keep children in sight and use shallow water areas for younger kids.
faliraki rhodes
Short visit to the main seafront promenade (Leoforos Kallitheas) for restaurants, shops and family-friendly venues (crazy golf, trampolines). This is included as the primary seafront area where families commonly buy food, drinks or visit play attractions during the beach visit.
Tips from local experts:
- If you need a high chair or a kids' menu, ask restaurants on Leoforos Kallitheas in advance on arrival—many are family-friendly during daytime hours.
- Strollers are usable along the main promenade, but expect occasional steps entering individual venues; request assistance from staff if needed.
- If you plan to visit a watersports booth, confirm age and safety rules first—equipment is not included in the tour and operators set their own rules for children.
