Private Aurora Spa — 2h Arctic Escape
Exclusive 2-hour private session at a lakeside spa near Rovaniemi with use of a traditional wood-heated sauna, outdoor jacuzzi and supervised ice-swimming access. The session includes welcome drinks in a warm Lappish hut, Lappish snacks, local non-alcoholic drinks, towels & slippers, warm changing area and restroom, an English-speaking host/guide and professional photography. Pickup from central Rovaniemi can be arranged; if pickup is requested the vehicle will collect guests approximately 30 minutes before the session start (time confirmed at booking). Participants must be medically fit for sauna and ice activities.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring a swimsuit, a warm robe or thick dry clothes for after ice swimming and a waterproof bag for wet swimwear; the site provides towels and slippers but not waterproof outerwear.
- If you plan to use the ice swimming option, avoid heavy meals or alcohol beforehand and let the host know of any cardiovascular or respiratory conditions — the activity requires participants to be medically fit.
- To increase your chance of seeing northern lights, keep outer layers handy for short walks outside the lakeside facility; the host will take photos but bring a compact tripod or a phone with a night-mode if you want personal long-exposure shots.
