Half day kayak to Moreno lake in private service
We pick you up at your lodging in San Carlos de Bariloche and drive toward the Circuito Chico area (approx. 20 km from city centre). En route the guide will point out Punto Panorámico, Hotel Llao Llao, Puerto Pañuelo and the Llao Llao Municipal Park. At the launch site (Arroyo Angostura / Lago Moreno Oeste) the guide leads a safety briefing and basic paddling instruction before a two-hour guided kayak on double kayaks with a planned landing on Isla de los Conejos. The route offers views of Cerro López, Cerro Bella Vista and Cerrito Llao Llao. The service includes transfer door-to-door within Bariloche, certified guide, civil liability and personal accident insurance, kayaking equipment (double kayaks with rudder, paddles and skirt), life jackets, waterproof cag, neoprene socks and mittens, dry bags, drinks and energy snacks, and a first-aid kit.
Tips from local experts:
- Dress in quick-dry layers and bring a light windproof layer; neoprene socks and mittens are provided but a swimsuit and a towel are useful under the waterproof cag.
- Use the restroom at your lodging before pickup; vehicles and launch sites have limited facilities — pick-up is door-to-door within Bariloche so allow time for collection.
- Leave valuables at your accommodation or inside the transfer vehicle; water-resistant dry bags are provided for small items like phones or cameras.
