Each participant will learn essential mosaic skills to complete a mosaic with stone approximately 20 x 20 cm the "direct method" will be used when applying your tessarae. Available designs inspired by Greek/Roman patterns will be provided. You will learn to use tools, materials, adhesives and colouring tints *the history of mosaics and everything about this ancient art form will be discussed throughout the workshop. The workshops are conducted outdoors in a tranquil studio garden setting amongst flowers and orange trees located at 132 Konstantinou Palaiologou Street in the heart of the City of Sparta, Laconia. The workshop runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
