Combine yoga and nice hike in the most beautiful nature scenery. Our trail to the peak goes through an old forest which has a lot of stories and history; on the way we also get to know the arctic nature, its plants and animals. We walk about 5 km on the path and in the forest. Always when it feels like it, we put our backpacks down, enjoy the view and few moments of forest yoga. Gentle, peaceful, body-stretching yoga poses combined to the benefits of nature. What could be better! We do poses mainly by standing up and use trees and rocks as support. Forest yoga suits for everybody and no previous experience is needed. At the top the silent view continues for as long as you can see and there we just sit still, do a short breathing exercise and enjoy the nature. After that we continue to the fireplace. With good luck the Siberian Jays may come and greet us when we make nettle pancakes and enjoy wild berry juice by the campfire. Duration: 5-6 hours, lenght 5 km. Group size: 1- 8. On the quiet slopes of Iivaara we walk first in the shelter of the forest and climb up to the top. From the top you can see far to the east, to the Russian border and to Ruka. We'll find the source of the river Iijoki and by the campfire make coffee from the spring water. On the way we may see the animals of the forest and even the traces in trees left by the bear.Duration is 8 hours and walking distance is 9 km.The tour is private and requires a minimum of 2 people. We'll walk through snowy forests, cross small frozen lakes, and head into the wilderness. Depending on our destination we may walk along the Big Bear's Trail or explore nature reserve areas. On the top of the fells, we see the entire northern horizon. While admiring the snowy landscape and winter around us, we enjoy traditional wild berry juice. Your guide tells you stories about the nature around us and our cool arctic lifestyle.Duration is 5-6 hours and the length with snowshoes is 7-8 km. There is always a good time to be in nature and a forest yoga walk is done every day of the week in new landscapes. Walking distance 2-6km and time 2h depending on the day.A forest yoga walk is a combination of yoga and various relaxation, breathing and meditation exercises, It is a relaxing trip to the middle of nature, to the shade of trees, to the side of a rock, to the top of the fell. Asanas and exercises balance the body and mind. During the trip, we will also practice nature immersion and forest breathing techniques that take us even deeper into the world of the forest. Guided hike in Oulanka national park with a touch of forest yoga and well-being in nature. There is no better feeling than being in the woods, under the trees, at the heart of the forest, doing Forest Yoga. Trees and rocks are used as props in our poses. Forest yoga poses suit everybody and no previous experience is needed. Have you ever experienced a night sky full of stars and a silent forest around you? In autumn time (mid-August - October) when we don't have snow lightning the night stars are brighter and northern lights are easy to spot from the black sky. In the right place, you can see them reflected on the calm surface of the lake. When winter comes, we do this same trip with snowshoes.During this trip, you will learn to navigate according to the stars and hear stories about the mythological heroes running in the sky. You may find your own zodiac sign, spot the brightest star, and hear its many names in Arabic, Greek, and Sámi. We also see one star which is more than 600 times bigger than our own sun and we see light that has travelled 640 years to greet us. The starry sky is full of amazing stories. Northern lights may also appear in the sky during the trip. Then it’s nice to lie on your back with reindeer skin, watch them dance up there in the sky, and drink some warm cranberry juice.You'll meet your guide at Saarua parking lot info sign (Ahon Jussintie 7).
