Vale do Pati & Fumaça - 4 days trekking, Chapada Diamantina - BA
Day 1: Entrance to Chapada Diamantina National Park / Gerais do Rio Preto / Mirante do Pati / Funis waterfall / Casa no Pati We will enter the Pati Valley, in the Chapada Diamantina National Park Start: 7:30 - 8:00 Term: Until 17:00 at the house of the residents of Pati Food included: snack and dinner kit prepared by the residents of Pati Departure from Lençóis by vehicle to Beco do Guine, official entrance to Chapada Diamantina National Park, 90km away. Climb the Serra do Sincorá and walk through the Gerais do Rio Preto. Stop for a snack and a swim in Rio Preto. Then we will go to the Mirante do Vale do Pati to enjoy the beautiful view. Snack. Then, we will continue to enter the Valley and bathe in Cachoeira dos Funis, being able to go to Lajeado and Bananeiras. At the end of the day, arrival at the natives' house. Accommodation, bath and dinner. Day 2: Castle Hill / Panoramic view / Casa no Pati Our second day in Vale do Pati Start: 8:00 - 8:30 Term: Until 16:00 at the house of the residents of Pati Food included:breakfast, snack and dinner prepared by the residents of Pati Breakfast. Departure around 8:30 to climb the Castelo Mountain. It's approximately 2 hours of steep ascent to the flat. From the viewpoint we will enjoy the view of the Pati Valley, with its mountains, waterfalls, rare geological formations and lots of greenery. We will rest from the walk enjoying the view from the highest point in the Valley. Snack on site. Return to the residents' house, with the possibility of stopping for a bath in the surrounding area. Time to interact with them and learn the stories of Pati Valley. After all, interacting with new cultures enriches the travel experience. Bath and dinner at the residents' house. Day 3: Cachoeirão Viewpoint Hike (Upper Route) / Vale do Capão Last day in Vale do Pati and trip to Vale do Capão Start:7:30 - 8:00 Term:Until 19:30 in Lençóis Food included:breakfast, snack and dinner prepared by the residents of Pati Breakfast. Departure around 8 am to discover the Cachoeirão Viewpoint Hike (Upper Route). On rainy days, we can see more than 20 waterfalls up to 280 meters high. Snack on site. After enjoying the Vale do Cachoeirão, we will continue walking through Gerais do Rio Preto and arrive in Guine through Beco or Aleixo, another exit from the district, where a vehicle will be waiting for us to drive us to Vale do Capão. Check in at the Vale do Capão lodging. Day 4: Fumaça waterfall / Riachinho / Lençóis The tallest waterfall will be contemplated today: the Fumaça waterfall. Start:8:30 - 9:30 Term:Until 18:00 Meeting point: at pousada in Vale do Capão, where we will book your overnight stay Food included:snack kit considering your dietary restrictions Breakfast and check out at the inn. Less than 5 km away by vehicle, we will stop near the Vale do Capão Drivers Association, which controls access to the attraction. We will walk for 12 km, with 2 km of ascent and 4 km of practically flat terrain, to see and photograph the Fumaça waterfall, from different angles, and the Valley of Smoke. At the top of the waterfall, we will have a meal. Then, we will return along the same route to the vehicle and go to Riachinho waterfall, 8 km away, for a refreshing bath energized by a large pink quartzite rock. Return to Lençóis at the end of the tour. We will drop you off at your lodging.
