Sea World Baia Diving is a Diving Center that regularly dives in the Archaeological Park of Baia and the islands of Ischia and Procida. We are moved by the passion and love for the sea and our Baia. Discover Scuba Diving in the Park of Baia

Double Dive in the Park of Baia

This double dive is open to all certified divers with a minimum level of "Open Water Diver", or an equivalent released from another scuba training agency (PADI, SSI, NADD, etc.) Explore the wonders of the ancient Roman city of Baia, the Roman city where luxury was the standard, that is today in part underwater due to the strong volcanic activity of the Phlegrean Fields, the geological area we are inside of. The phenomenon called bradisism made the earth level slowly sink down over the years, so today the Roman Villas that were in front of the sea are about 4 meters underwater, and the sea has preserved them to us in a marvellous way. As soon as you arrive at our Diving Center you will attend a short briefing about the city of Baia and the specific dive site you will be visiting! Baia is a very big archeological area, and it is split into different visit routes by the Archeological Park. Each of them is visitable for one our at a time, and each of the visit routes has been made to last approximately 45 minutes.If you don't have your own equipment you don't need to worry, we will be able to provide you with all of the equipment you may need, you will only need to bring your swimming suit, a towel and some clean clothes to get changed afterwards if you wish to. Once we're ready we will go by boat (~ 5 minutes of navigation) to the Archaeological Park of Baia where we will admire ancient mosaics, statues, marble floors and all of the ancient structures of the Roman city of Baia (beloved by emperors and senators) and of course the sea life that populates it today! Each dive will last approximately 45 minutes, following one of the visit routes predisposed by the Park, and your Divemaster, your guide, will be always at your side in order to give you the best support and help possible, and to ensure you live an unforgettable experience! After the two dives we will return to the Diving Center, where you will have at your disposal showers and changing rooms, and usually some refreshments are not missing. After this experience your guide will be able to certificate that you have done it on your LogBook, and we can assure that our unique stamp is unmistakable, a dive stamp not to miss!What are you waiting for? Double Discover Scuba Diving in the Park of Baia

The Discover Scuba Diving is a first try dive, no license is required and the minimum age to participate is ten years old, the program is set to the PADI standards. Explore the wonders of the ancient Roman city of Baia, the Roman city where luxury was the standard, that is today in part underwater due to the strong volcanic activity of the Phlegrean Fields, the geological area we are inside of. The phenomenon called bradisism made the earth level slowly sink down over the years, so today the Roman Villas that were in front of the sea are about 4 meters underwater, and the sea has preserved them to us in a marvellous way. As soon as you decide to start you will be given a form to assess whether a medical certificate will be needed or not, and a brief e-learning that anticipates the things you will need to know. If you would like to check whether you will need a medical certificate or not you may do so here. Once you arrive at the Diving Center you will attend a short theoretical lesson conducted by our instructors, to best explain the basic knowledge of diving, the equipment and how to behave in the water. You will know all you need to be safe and to enjoy each second of your dive! We will provide you with all of the equipment you need, you will only need to bring your swimming suit, a towel and some clean clothes to get changed afterwards if you wish to. Once we're ready we will go by boat to the Archaeological Park of Baia where we will admire ancient mosaics, statues, marble floors and all of the ancient structures of the Roman city of Baia (beloved by emperors and senators) and of course the sea life that populates it today! We will be visiting two different dive sites in two different but consecutive dives. Each dive will last approximately 45 minutes, following one of the visit routes predisposed by the Park, and your instructors will always be by your side, holding you by hand, to give you the best support and help possible, and to ensure you live an unforgettable experience! After the dive we will return to the Diving Center, where you will have at your disposal showers and changing rooms, and usually some refreshments are not missing. After this experience your instructor will certificate that you have done it, and it counts as a first dive of an Open Water Diver Course PADI, not just with us, but in any PADI diving center in the world.What are you waiting for? To do this double Snorkeling Experience no license is required and the minimum age to participate is seven years old.Explore the wonders of the ancient Roman city of Baia, the Roman city where luxury was the standard, that is today in part underwater due to the strong volcanic activity of the Phlegrean Fields, the geological area we are inside of. Once you arrive at the Diving Center you will attend a short theoretical lesson conducted by our instructors, to best explain the safety procedures, the equipment you will be using and how to behave in the water. You will know all you need to be safe and to enjoy each second of your experience! We will provide you with all of the equipment you need, you will only need to bring your swimming suit, a towel and some clean clothes to get changed afterwards if you wish to. Once we're ready we will go by boat to the Archaeological Park of Baia where we will admire ancient mosaics, statues, marble floors and all of the ancient structures of the Roman city of Baia (beloved by emperors and senators) and of course the sea life that populates it today! All the while, we'll be swimming among a multitude of colourful fish that will make the experience even more special. Each tour will last approximately 45 minutes in the water, following one of the visit routes predisposed by the Park, and our guides will always be by your side to give you the best support and help possible, and to ensure you live an unforgettable experience! You will be able to visit two different dive sites in one go, with 45 minutes in the water for each dive site! After the snorkeling activity we will return to the Diving Center, where you will have at your disposal showers and changing rooms, and usually some refreshments are not missing.
