Depart from your resort as we make our way toward Opatija - a very famous destination, situated at the foot of Mount Učka. The tourism industry started here back in 1844 when Iginio Scarpa built his villa ''Angiolina'' on the site of what is now the “First of May Park”. Soon after this, the resort was frequented by the rich and famous including Gustav Mahler, Anton Chekhov and Isadora Duncan. Even the Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria used to visit his mistress here. In the eastern part of Istria, only three kilometers from the sea, lies the Medieval town of Labin, today known for its numerous galleries and artists. The most fascinating sight is the central town square with the perfectly preserved loggia and the main Town Gate of St. Flora. After sightseeing and some free time, enjoy a picturesque countryside drive back to your resort.


Depart your hotel for a drive to Perast, a peaceful and quiet Baroque city near Kotor. Upon arrival, you will see the most beautiful 17th- and 18th-century buildings of this small town. During your journey through Perast, you will see numerous sacral monuments, including the 1740 parish church and the 12th-century St. Djordje's Church, located on the island in front of Perast. You will also see the St. Nicholas' Church built between the 15th and 17th centuries. After that, board a private motor boat for a ride to Our Lady of the Rocks (after Italian Madonna dello Scarpello), a Baroque-style church situated on one of the two islets in the Bay of Kotor, across from Perast. The islet is man-made and the original church was built in 1452. Following your tour, you will rejoin your vehicle for the return drive back to the town of Kotor for a city tour. It is believed that Our Lady appeared in front of a group of children in 1981. Šibenik holds an important place in the Croatian built heritage thanks to the well-preserved historical core of the town and numerous architectural accomplishments of the monument category. It is special for its ancient fortresses surrounding it and its monumental Gothic – Renaissance Cathedral of St. James, as well as the narrow streets or the so-called kalas, numerous churches scattered around this town and its surrounding. Your walking tour includes a guided walking tour through the old part of the town where you will visit the finest sites including the Cathedral of St. James, one of the finest sacral monuments in Dalmatia. After visiting the town of Šibenik follows the magic world of the Krka River which runs over the cliffs and falls in 46 m of profundity! Take some time for a relaxing walk along the river enjoying the splendid nature. By walking around you may visit a small museum and an old mill.

Both capital cities, Ljubljana and Zagreb, are connected by a highway and are merely 2 hours away. Midway you will stop at Otočec first. The Otočec Castle, built on one of the islands in the Krka River, is the only castle surrounded by water in Slovenia. Built in the mid-13th century, the castle is surrounded not only by water, but also by a luscious park which is open to all visitors. (Photo stop or/and coffee break). Continuing to Zagreb, with short border formalities we arrive to the Croatia’s capital. During a sightseeing tour you will have the opportunity to see the fortified Upper Town, the historical city center, the St. Mark’s Church with its multi-colored roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre and the University.

The town of Hvar, on the homonymous island, is the oldest tourist center of Dalmatia, rich in historical monuments. Enjoy a visit to the 16th-century Theatre, the 13th-century Arsenal, or the central town square with the Cathedral, surrounded by numerous palaces built in different architectural styles, all of it only completing the picture. After sightseeing, there will be plenty of time for swimming, sunbathing, as well as having lunch in one of the excellent restaurants.

Your guide will take you for a walk through the Diocletian's Palace and historical streets of Split to Uje oil bar, inevitable gastro stop in Split where you will be introduced to the ways of tasting olive oil quality and presented with authentic Croatian wine varieties. The experience will be enriched with pairing of olive oil with fleur de sel, aged red wine vinegar, homemade bread from our oven, green olive tapenade, mixed sheep and cow milk cheese and fig jam. Split is well-known for its archaeological, historical and cultural monuments - the most famous one being the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian - a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site. Meet your guide and take a walk through the 4th-century Diocletian’s Palace and see the ancient Cellars, Peristyle, the Golden and Silver gates, the oldest Cathedral in Europe - formally the Diocletian’s Mausoleum, and the Baptistery - the former Temple of Jupiter. Our guide will give you a local’s insight on today’s way of living in this town as well as the historical overview. Enjoy some free time after the tour to explore more of the Palace.

This full-day guided tour will take you to Radovljica first, a picturesque old town situated on a hilltop. The compact city center is a veritable open-air museum of nicely restored buildings, narrow sloping streets and pleasant sidewalk cafés. It is also ‘’the town of honey’’. Nearby, the Lectar Inn houses a unique live museum where you will have a chance to learn the handicraft of honey bread (Lectar) making. Lake Bohinj, the largest lake in Slovenia, lies in the protected area of the Triglav National Park, the only Slovenian national park and one of the oldest in Europe. It was named after Triglav, the highest mountain in the heart of the park. The park prides itself on beautiful mountains and meadows, pure waters, deep cut gorges, remains of virgin forests and picturesque alpine villages scattered in the upper and lower Bohinj valley. Driving through these small villages you will see the ancient hayracks in Studor, and visit Oplen’s house, a typical old peasant's cottage with a chimney- less 'black kitchen' that has been turned into a museum focusing on the domestic life of peasants in the Bohinj area.

Depart Kotor and continue along steep slopes to the Lovćen Mountain. This is an area of powerful contrasts. Cold Montenegrin mountains from one side and the wealth and mildness of one of the most beautiful bays in the world on the other side. Our first stop is a picturesque village of Njeguši where the guests will enjoy local snacks: smoked ham and cheese, homemade bread and wine. After that, the road carries you on to Cetinje, a one-time center of the Montenegrin rule, today a museum town. Here you will visit King Nikola’s Museum followed by a scenic ride along the Budva Riviera, the best-known summer resort in Montenegro, before arriving back to Kotor. The old part of the town of Kotor developed within a small triangular area enclosed by the city walls which extend to the Fort of St. John. During a guided tour through this charming little town your experienced guide will show you, among other places, the 5-km long city walls built by a Venetian who began working on them in 1420 and continued strengthening them until the middle of the 18th century. Enclosing the Old Town, the walls formed a unique fortification project which resisted attacks for months and survived long sieges. The Cathedral of St. Triphon built in 1166 is a Romanesque basilica whose nave is separated from the aisles by the alternating square pillars and antique columns.

It is still widely unknown that Hrvatsko Zagorje is the area with the biggest numbers of castles in the world. Depart from your hotel. Travel to Varaždin, the economic and cultural centre of the area of Međimurje and Hrvatsko Zagorje. Tour of the city with a guide. After the tour, depart to Trakošćan Castle - one of the most attractive castles in Croatia. Built on the visible foundations of simple Romanesque citadels from the 12th and 13th centuries. Depart from your hotel. Drive to Plitvička Jezera. A tour of the National Park, the oldest (since 1949) and largest (294,82 km2) National Park in Croatia. This is the only National Park in Croatia inscribed on the UNESCO List of World Natural Heritage sites (for almost 30 years). The constant formation of the barrier has influenced the appearance of the lakes today, and this is the main feature of the National Park. The water of Plitvička jezera is a prime category potable water (a rarity in Croatia). Walk along the forest trails and across the wooden bridges; ride on the electric boat and the panoramic tour train. Free time for lunch at nearby restaurants. Departure from Plitvička jezera back to the hotel.

After crossing the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, we drive along the emerald river Neretva and make a short stop in Počitelj, a historic urban settlement, before reaching the town of Mostar. Mostar is a city of poetry, a city of stone and sleepy, narrow winding streets. It is a city where the traveler from the North feels the first dashes of the Mediterranean air imbued with scents of citrus and sea, while the traveler from the South reaches the first glimpses of the continent beyond. The town is exceptional for its dwellings and monuments assembled harmoniously over the centuries thanks to the favorable geographical conditions and economic climate. Experience the sights such as the Old Bazaar, the Turkish House and one of the many old Mosques and, of course, the stone bridge which the town is famous for. After a guided tour of the town enjoy some free time for strolling around and browsing among the many old crafts shops. On our way back we stop in Blagaj to visit its Tekija, a centuries old Dervish monastery, situated at the foot of a cliff, next to the source of the river Buna. To remind us of its former importance, Hvar houses a thick-walled fortress overlooking the harbor and, in the very heart of the port, a large Arsenal, an imposing building built in 1611.

Our drive to Dubrovnik takes us along the beautiful Bay of Kotor, the most southern fjord in Europe, crossing it by ferry boat. After crossing the border with Croatia, we arrive to the famous ancient city of Dubrovnik. “Those who seek paradise on earth”, George Bernard Shaw once wrote, “should come to Dubrovnik”. Dubrovnik is the one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval Mediterranean towns, rich in cultural monuments. Along the way we will pass by the Rector’s Palace (15th century) that used to be the seat of the Government and Rector in the once-independent Republic of Dubrovnik (abolished by Napoleon in 1808). Today, it gives us an idea of how the ruling class and the aristocracy used to live. Other fine buildings will be seen from the outside: the Sponza Palace, notable for its column courtyard with elaborate stone carving; the Church of St. Blaise; the Onofrio’s Fountain; the Cathedral, etc. At the end of the walking tour you will have some free time in the Old Town.


Enjoy a drive along the coastline passing by Split, Solin, Kaštela, Trogir and Primošten to Šibenik. A short stop will be made there in the old town with a visit to the most beautiful Renaissance cathedral on the Adriatic Coast and then we proceed to the Krka Waterfalls. Located in the lovely Krka National Park, the falls cascade over 17 natural barriers. There will be ample time here for exploring or taking photographs. Relax in the shade of the old lime trees.

Pula is best known for its many surviving ancient Roman buildings, the most famous of which is its 1st- century amphitheater. Locally known as Arena, it is the sixth largest amphitheater in the world. One of the best preserved amphitheaters from antiquity, Arena is still today used as a venue for the summer film festivals. After a guided tour of Pula, we are going to the nearby village of Vodnjan for the olive oil tasting. A family farm Chiavalon is specialized in growing olives and producing top quality extra virgin olive oil. Their olive oil is among the 15 world's top olive oils.

After sightseeing, return to the starting point.

Begin your scenic drive through the beautiful continental part of Croatia exploring Zagorje and its castles and stories from the past. Your first stop is at the Museum of Krapina Neanderthals, located next to the world famous Krapina Neanderthals site "Hušnjakovo", where you will explore the life of the primitive European man and the secrets of its primitive beginnings. On your way to the Veliki Tabor castle, where you will relax and have lunch in a nearby farm house Grešne Gorice, you will have a short stop at the ethno village of Kumrovec. Once a regular inhabited village and today a museum village, Kumrovec is also known as the birthplace of Josip Broz Tito. Upon the tour of Kumrovec you will continue driving through the interesting Zagorje countryside. After lunch, your guide will take you for a tour of the Veliki Tabor castle which is a part of the Museums of Hrvatsko Zagorje.

You will start with a pleasant panoramic ride along the Adriatic coastline; the first stop will be made in the small village of Orašac where we will participate in a demonstration of the olive oil production the old-fashioned way, where the mill is run by a horse. Here you will also have an opportunity to taste some homemade cheese, smoked ham and wine.After visiting the village of Orašac, you will continue towards the Pelješac peninsula, famous for its wine, seafood and salt pans. Our first stop is village Ponikve where we will visit a small family-owned winery that produces high quality wine and seafood brought fresh from their beds in the nearby Mali Ston bay.As a cherry on top of a cake comes the town of Ston, the “oyster capital” of Croatia. Especially interesting are the magnificent 5-km long walls surrounding the town – the longest defense walls after the Great Wall of China, and its ancient salt pans where the salt is still produced the same way as back in the time of the Dubrovnik Republic, as well as the time of the Romans, who built them.

Leaving Zadar our first stop will be the Royal Vineyards. On the picturesque hills above the coastal villages of Petrčane and Punta Skala, the vineyards were erected in the extreme conditions, on the rocky soil with an optimum slope towards southwest and with constant circulation of air from the sea and from the nearby Velebit mountain. Top quality grapes from the stone vineyards and excellent taste of wines are results of a special microclimate, its position by the sea and a full day of direct sun exposure, on average 2600 hours per year. Petrčane is in unique harmony with nature, with impressive landscape colors of green vineyards, blue sky, hot sun and clear blue sea. The view from the vineyards is overlooking the city of Zadar, the islands of the Zadar archipelago and Velebit. Our next stop is a small town of Nin. On a small island in the middle of a shallow lagoon the town of Nin can be found with its old centre, connected to the mainland by two stone bridges. Nin has had an exciting past and has a lovely present today. All its stories beauty and natural wealth are here to be enjoyed and to provide joy, health and spiritual satisfaction which are so much needed today. At the Nin saltworks the salt is not produced by the machines. It is not produced by the man either. The salt is produced by the sun, sea and wind. The salt from Nin is ecological, therapeutic and biodynamic. Its production, besides people, includes diverse wildlife, plenty of beaches and healing mud. Our next and final stop is the city of Zadar. Experience an informative orientational walking tour of Zadar, a town that has been settled since the Neolithic period and boasts a rich Roman and Medieval history. You will walk through the majestic Old Town, where you will have a chance to see traces of its centuries- old history. At the end of the tour, you will have time to explore the town on your own.

Cycle Parenzana, ex-railway trail, is today one of the most beautiful in the world. The trail follows the route Explore the heart of inland Istria on a private guided cycling tour along the most scenic section of the historic Parenzana trail. The island of Korčula undoubtedly holds a privileged position among the Croatian islands. Here we find more legends, tales and monuments than anywhere else. Being famous stonemasons, shipbuilders and seafarers, the people of Korčula left their marks all over the world, but have saved their best works for their hometown. Experience the narrow streets, beautiful churches and magnificent palaces in one of the best-preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean. After sightseeing – free time for lunch or swimming.

This half-day excursion combines two of the most famous symbols of Istria: hilltop towns and Istrian wines. Our first stop is Grožnjan, an ancient town in the northwest of Istria, 15 km from the sea. It takes a great pride in its wealth of tradition, cultural heritage and natural beauty, all of which is ennobled by art. During a walking tour and some free time, you will have the opportunity to explore numerous small churches and galleries and enjoy magnificent landscapes and views. Continuing our tour, our next stop is the village of Nova Vas, where the wine cellar of Cattunar wines awaits us. After a guided visit of their wine cellar and vineyards, you will have the opportunity to sample some of the Cattunar wines, served with cheese and bread. After spending some time with this family, we make our way back to your resort.


A scenic drive through the heart of Istria brings us to Svetvinčenat, Savičenta, San Vincenti, the three names of the same place, which have the starting point in the name of the patron, a Hispanic martyr St. Vincent and the eponymous abbey the town developed around. The area has been inhabited since prehistoric and Roman times. The stone castle Grimani, the best preserved castle on the peninsula of Istria and the largest Svetvinčenat building, stretches over almost the entire northern side of the town square. The castle used to be a destination for tradesmen, soldiers, aristocracy guests and travel writers, and today it attracts curious passers-by and tourists. The first fortress was built early in the 13th century, but the stormy war years resulted in destruction quite often, which implied the reconstruction and the change in the castle’s appearance. Its present appearance dates from 1589 when Marino Grimani renovated the burnt castle according to the design made by Venetian architects Scamozzi and Campagne. Today, the castle is one of the most beautiful Venetian buildings of that time in Istria. In the surroundings of Svetvincenat, in the village of Pekići, lies spectacular lavender fields. More than 36,000 different lavender seedlings are planted here by the family Pekica, whose local family household located in the middle of the property is a perfect example of a traditional home in Istria, surrounded by local flowers and plants and animated by local animals and the sound of children play and family talks. Lavender here is used to flavor foods and beverages and as a fragrance ingredient in soaps and cosmetics. After lunch of local specialties accompanied by lavender scented snacks prepared by the family we will drive towards Rovinj, one of the most picturesque and romantic little towns in the world.A late Medieval town with a strong Venetian influence particularly in architecture and everyday life: a place with a long fishing tradition, a place which artists, particularly painters, have chosen for life and artistic impressions… The old town is a treasury of historic monuments - all tucked among cobbled streets inviting for exploration. Known as the "Montmartre of Istria", Rovinj is an artists' colony with many galleries. The Church of St. Euphemia stands proudly at top of the hill. This tour also includes a walk through famous Grisia, the street of artists, a visit to the town’s square, a farmer’s market and the Balbi’s arch.

An early start is called upon in order for you to experience a day in a life of a truffle hunter! From Pula/Rovinj/Poreč, drive to the village of Mala Huba for a special experience of truffle hunting. Even though the best period for searching the white truffles is between October and December, the period between January and September is ideal for searching the black truffles which are a little bit of lower quality than the white ones. All the truffles are actually underground. However, they have a strong smell and trained dogs find them easily. After the “truffle hunt” experience of almost 60 minutes we shall return to the village of Mala Huba for light lunch and a wine tasting. If you wish, you are more than welcome to participate in preparing the truffle lunch with your local host, learn about different local ingredients or just sit back, relax with a glass of local wine or a truffle tasting beer and wait for your food! After the truffle hunting, we continue to Motovun, an astonishing architectural landmark. This hilltop town has preserved its Medieval ambience in its narrow streets within the town walls which have been preserved in their entire length. Walk along the Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance buildings to the main square dominated by the 13th-century belfry of St. Stephen's church. Free time in Motovun is followed by a scenic drive back to your hotel.

Wonderful beaches, clear waters and gorgeous mountains that plunge into the sea will greet you upon your arrival in the Gulf of Kotor.
