On average the Open Water Diver course takes two to three days to complete. Once you have successfully passed your course you are able to explore the underwater world through fun dives or continue your diver education through adventure dives and other specialty courses depending on your interests. Using a combination of online learning, confined and open water dives, the PADI Scuba Diver Course is a perfect foundation for you to become a confident and safe diver. Your Reef Oasis instructor will teach you all you need to know in order to scuba dive in open water to a maximum of 12 meters deep with a professional diver who holds a Dive Master or higher qualification. In this short yet comprehensive program, you will complete almost half of the Open Water Diver Course training which will allow you to easily upgrade your certification. Simply complete the remaining e-learning and confined water sessions, as well as two open water training dives in order to upgrade your certification. By the end of this course, you are certified to dive with a buddy, led by a Divemaster or higher, to a maximum of 12 metres where you can have fun, practice and gain more experience

This course is all about becoming a more proficient diver –you’ll have an opportunity to expand your scuba experience, learn new skills and build-on existing ones. Alongside your PADI Instructor, you’ll experience deep diving, fine-tune your buoyancy and increase your navigation skills, allowing you to become more comfortable and confident underwater.In addition to your deep dive, you will also complete three specialty (Adventure) dives of your choosing, allowing you to sample a range of specialty diving interests. Diving Specialty Options Include: Enriched Air Nitrox, Deep, Fish Identification, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery and Wreck Diver.Each specialty dive you complete will earn you credit towards the PADI specialty certifications.
