This beautiful Baroque church housed the Tilma of Saint Juan Diego (the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe) for more than 300 years.• New Basilica: Inaugurated in 1976, this modern basilica houses the original image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and can accommodate up to 10,000 visitors.• Old Indigenous Parish: The first church built within the Basilica complex, originally intended for the indigenous population and located on the site where Juan Diego's home once stood.• Capuchin Mothers Parish: Originally built for the Capuchin nuns, this historic church has served many purposes over the centuries and today hosts masses for various religious communities.• Pozito Chapel: One of the most unique chapels in Mexico, featuring a completely circular interior and a fascinating history.• Cerrito Chapel: The traditional site of the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
