The Finnhorse is a cooperative, sweet and reliable co-worker. On horseback you can experience the untouched nature of Lapland.In autumn you can enjoy the colourful forest scenery with autumn foliage, in the winter you'll hear the snow crunch beneath the hooves as snowcovered trees bend above our trail. In the spring the bright sunshine will glisten on the snow and you can hear the song of the first migratory birds and feel the warmth of the sun. This night rider's dream is for you who are not afraid of the dark or enjoy riding in the moonlight. A wet forest in autumn or a snowy landscape in winter makes the imagination run wild. The silent fairytale forest at night hides stories that you cannot see or hear in daylight. Forest animals are not afraid of horses, so we can encounter in the dark with moose, foxes or hares. Maybe you'll meet Santa's reindeer?We ride through the Lappish forest and at the end of the trip we enjoy a warm juice and a small evening snack by the campfire.
The Finnhorse is a unique breed that we try to protect. It is cooperative, trustworthy and extremely kind. We tell the story of the Finnhorse so that everyone understands its significance to us Finns. The versatility of the Finnhorse surprises most people, as it is currently used as a workhorse, trotting horse, in equestrian sports and in therapeutic use.Our horses love grooming and crunches, cuddling and small treats. Even if you have never been in contact with horses before, in a short time you will notice why people all over the world spend hours with horses. You could listen to the peaceful neighing sound of eating hay alone forever, and a few hugs will transfer the warmth from the horse to you.A charming moment with a Finnhorse leaves a mark on the heart.

SCV's special surroundings and a Finnhorse glowing in freezing temperatures will take you back in time.The slow pace of travel gives you time to admire the surrounding landscape, perhaps find a destination for the next day or just forget about all the other everyday work.
A short sleigh ride with Finnhorse. We drive near the SCV and enjoy the atmospheric ride. The ride takes about 10 minutes and is suitable for almost everyone from baby to grandpa. Are you ready to sing some christmas song's?In snowless times, the ride can be carried out in a wagon.You can buy a ticket in advance for a specific day, in which case you can board by presenting the ticket to the driver. The maximum size for a private group is 8 people.We warmly welcome you and tell you the story of Finnhorses. During the introduction, we will get acquainted with the past and present life of the draft horse we use.During the sleigh ride (or wagon ride during snowless seasons) we sit down on the reindeer hides and enjoy the ride under the warm blankets. A thermos mug of hot drink warms from the inside. Our route winds through the atmospheric forest of Lapland. At the end of the ride, in addition to a warm drink, we enjoyed snacks by the campfire.
