Itinerary
Day 1
3-hour small-group kayaking and snorkeling excursion with private pickup anywhere on Nassau/Paradise Island; cruise passengers meet at the east exit gate after the Junkanoo Museum.
Private pickup and short transfer to launch
We collect guests from their accommodation anywhere on Nassau or Paradise Island and transfer to the local launch point. Cruise-ship passengers will be met at the east exit gate after passing the Junkanoo Museum.
Tips from local experts:
- Have your accommodation name and room number ready for the driver to avoid delays.
- If arriving by cruise ship, be ready at the east exit gate after the Junkanoo Museum for a faster pickup.
- Wear quick-dry clothing and bring any personal medication in a small daypack the driver can store.
Kayak launch and paddle to snorkel site (reef & floating swim platform)
Launch from the downtown waterfront and paddle to the nearby reef. Guides anchor at a floating swim platform for guided snorkeling among reef fish and marine life. Snorkel equipment is provided.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring reef-safe sunscreen and apply before arrival — sunscreen is not provided by the operator.
- Keep your valuables in a dry bag; the guides will secure it on the launch vessel or onshore while you snorkel.
- If you’re newer to snorkeling, tell the guide so they can offer brief technique tips and stay nearby during your first swim.
Visit secluded cay (beach time, hammocks, coconut & signature drink) and return paddle
Continue to a small secluded cay for shoreline exploration, hammock time, fresh local coconut and the guide's signature tropical drink. Look for local wildlife including rays where present. Return paddle to the launch and transfer back to accommodations. If weather prevents kayaking to the cay, the group will visit Lovers Cove at Love Beach instead.
Tips from local experts:
- If prone to seasickness, take prevention before departure — the guides will stay close to shore where possible.
- Limit personal items taken ashore to one small bag; the guides will monitor gear and trophies while you swim or relax.
- Wear water shoes for easy movement on rocky or shell-strewn shorelines; sandals may not protect feet fully.
