Private tour: three days kayak expedition to Mascardi lake
DAY ONE We depart from Playa Negra, at the shore of Mascardi. We sail through the waters of the Catedral Branch, enjoying the varied colour-scheme that characterizes the lake, and stop for lunch at one of the isolated beaches of the route. We continue paddling until we reach Los Leones Beach, where we dine and spend the night. DAY TWO Sunrise finds us at the shore of Los Leones Beach and we have breakfast before departing. We return sailing on the opposite shore tacking Cerro Mora and take the Tronador Branch. Around noon, we stop for lunch in front of Corazón Island, surrounded by wild vegetation, a dense forest with lush trees. We continue paddling until the end of Tronador Branch, where we set camp once again to dine and spend the night. DAY THREE We have breakfast at our camp before sailing away. With the vigilant peak of Mount Tronador in the background, we can enjoy the majestic view of the mountain after which that part of the lake is named. We return sailing on the opposite shore tacking Flores de León Hill. We pass by Corazón Island and stop for lunch on a beach near the Los Rápidos Bay. Then, we continue our expedition plowing through Mascardi Lake between islets and nestled bays until we reach once more Playa Negra, at the end of our journey.

We sail through the waters of the Brazo Catedral, enjoying the varied colour-scheme which characterizes the lake, until we reach Playa de los Leones, where we stop for lunch. We return sailing on the opposite shore tacking Cerro Mora and take the Brazo Tronador, surrounded by wild vegetation, and dense forest with lush trees. Once we get into the Brazo Tronador, we can enjoy the majestic view of the mountain after which that branch of the lake is named. We set camp at the foremost extreme, where there is the entrance to the Río Manso Superior, a river born from glacial thaw. We dine on the shore of the lake and spend the night there. DAY TWO Sunrise finds us at the shore of Lago Mascardi and we have breakfast before departing. Always under the vigilant summit of Cerro Tronador, we sail on the opposite coast of the branch tacking Cerro Flores de Leon. We pass by Isla Corazón and stop for lunch on a beach near Bahia de Los Rápidos. Then, we continue our expedition plowing through Lago Mascardi between islets and nestled bays until we reach once more Playa Negra, at the end of our journey.
