Hotel pickup — transfer to Aeroparque (Buenos Aires)
Private pickup from your Buenos Aires hotel and direct transfer to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery for domestic flight to Puerto Iguazú. Allow time for check-in and security.
Tips from local experts:
- Be ready in the hotel lobby at the confirmed pickup time; drivers typically wait 5–10 minutes.
- Pack a small daypack with swimwear and a quick-dry towel for the boat — stow luggage with the vehicle/airline.
- Carry photo ID and the printed or mobile voucher for airport check-in.
Flight: Buenos Aires → Puerto Iguazú (domestic)
Fast domestic flight from Aeroparque to Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport (Puerto Iguazú). Times shown include boarding and disembarkation.
Tips from local experts:
- Domestic flights in Argentina require arrival at the desk at least 45–60 minutes before departure—your guide will advise exact boarding time.
- Keep essential items (medication, documents, camera) in your carry-on—checked luggage won't be available during the day.
- Expect a short flight of roughly 1.5 hours; bring a light jacket for cooler cabin temperatures.
Transfer: Puerto Iguazú airport → Parque Nacional Iguazú
Private transfer from Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport to the entrance/visitor area of Iguazú National Park.
Tips from local experts:
- Have small Argentine pesos available for any park parking or incidental purchases en route.
- If you feel dust or sun at the airport, keep sunglasses and a hat handy for the short transfer.
- Confirm with your guide where to keep larger luggage during the park visit if not checked with the airline.
Iguazú National Park — catwalks and Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat)
We will visit one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, a unique natural universe. Full of life, abundant vegetation and 275 waterfalls, including the Garganta del Diablo, falling 82 meters high, it is the ideal place to connect with nature. We will walk the catwalks, visit the Devil's Throat and immortalize this unique moment with a beautiful souvenir photo. Here is included the time it will take to move from one place to another
Tips from local experts:
- Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes—the catwalks are well maintained but can be wet and slippery near viewpoints.
- Bring a waterproof cover for cameras or a zip-top bag; the mist is heavy near the Devil's Throat.
- Follow your guide's pace and rest on benches at viewpoints; the walk includes several scenic but exposed sections.
Lunch (included) — park restaurant or nearby
Lunch break at a local restaurant inside or near Iguazú National Park. Time set aside for a relaxed meal before the afternoon activities.
Tips from local experts:
- Menus often include local dishes and grilled options—notify your guide about any allergies or dietary restrictions before ordering.
- Restroom facilities are available at park restaurants; use them before boarding the 4x4 transfer.
- Keep water with you; hydrating before the boat ride helps with heat and physical activity.
4x4 jungle transfer to Puerto Macuco
Private 4x4 jungle ride toward Puerto Macuco — bumpy, scenic transfer through forest tracks that leads to the boat embarkation point.
Tips from local experts:
- The 4x4 ride is bumpy—secure loose items and keep cameras in a neck strap or case.
- Bring insect repellent and wear long sleeves if you are sensitive to insects during the transfer.
- If you get motion-sensitive, sit toward the middle and look at the horizon to reduce discomfort.
Great Adventure boat — Lower Iguazú River to Salto San Martín
We will depart from the dock where we will board the boats with which we will travel 6 km along the canyon of the Lower Iguazú River towards the area of waterfalls enjoying the mighty rapids, to the base of Salto Tres Mosqueteros, sighting the set of Brazilian and Argentine waterfalls, with the Garganta del Diablo crowning the view of the canyon. Later, you will reach the maximum point of emotion when facing the incomparable Salto San Martín, second in terms of dimension and the largest that a boat can approach. Here is included the time it will take to move from one place to another
Tips from local experts:
- The boat gets you very close to the falls—wear the provided life jacket and waterproof poncho; expect to get soaked.
- Store phones and cameras in dry bags or leave them with your guide if you don't have waterproof protection.
- Children under 12 cannot join this boat; confirm age restrictions in advance if travelling with kids.
Return to park entrance — change and short rest
Return transfer to the main park area. Time to change, dry off, and collect any luggage before heading back to the airport.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring a change of clothes and a plastic bag for wet items to avoid dampness in other luggage.
- Towels and basic drying facilities are limited—use the time to air-dry as much as possible.
- Check with your guide for the exact meeting point and time for the return transfer to the airport.
Transfer to Puerto Iguazú airport & flight to Buenos Aires
Private transfer to the airport and return domestic flight to Aeroparque or other agreed Buenos Aires airport. Times include transfer and flight.
Tips from local experts:
- Have your boarding passes ready and keep small belongings accessible for re-checking at the airport.
- Expect security checks and possible delays—remain with the group and follow the guide's instructions.
- If you purchased souvenirs, keep fragile items in carry-on to avoid damage in checked luggage.
Transfer from Aeroparque → hotel (Buenos Aires) — drop-off

Tips from local experts:
- Expect arrival in Buenos Aires in early evening; coordinate any dinner plans accordingly with your driver or hotel.

- Keep lightweight snacks and water for the return transfer after a long active day.
