Itinerary
Day 1
Private, fully customizable 3-hour walking tour around Chiyoda City and nearby neighborhoods. Guide will craft the route with you on the day based on your interests and the local conditions.
Private guided walking tour (customizable)
Meet your English-speaking guide (hotel lobby pickup is provided within the central area; if your hotel is outside the defined pickup area, the fallback meeting point is the Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center). Over the next 3 hours you and your guide will walk at an easy pace through a selection of quiet neighborhoods, narrow alleys with local eateries, and small temples/shrines tucked off main streets. The guide provides a public-transport fare card and will handle navigation and route adjustments. Entrance fees, food and beverages are not included.
Tips from local experts:
- Provide your hotel name when booking; the guide will normally meet you in your hotel lobby. If your hotel falls outside the defined pickup area, plan to meet at Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center (2-3-1 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0032).
- Wear comfortable, flat shoes and expect short stretches of uneven pavement and narrow alleyways; bring a light layer for October weather.
- Tell your guide about any dietary restrictions or a preferred 'special moment' (quiet café, temple pause, or scenic viewpoint) so they can shape the route accordingly; note that food, drinks and entrance fees are paid separately.

4 Hours Guided Tokyo Custom Tour
Why this experience
You control the itinerary, and your licensed English-speaking guide navigates you through Tokyo's most iconic neighbourhoods in four focused hours. Whether you want the historic temple energy of Asakusa, the organised chaos of Tsukiji's outer market, the neon arcade madness of Akihabara, the spiritual calm of Meiji Shrine, or the crossing frenzy of Shibuya, Japan Wonder Guide adapts in real time to what excites you. This isn't a preset route — it's a conversation with someone who knows Tokyo inside out, and you decide where that conversation takes you.
Before you go
| | | |---|---| | Best time | Spring and autumn offer ideal temperatures; summer is hot and humid with heavy tourist crowds; winter is mild and clear but can be rainy | | Budget | Plan for transit between neighbourhoods (IC card or day pass), lunch if you choose to eat, and shopping in Akihabara if tempted — the guide covers no entry fees, though temples may accept small donations | | Difficulty | Easy to moderate — mostly walking on flat urban streets; expect busy intersections and crowded stations, especially near Shibuya | | What to bring | Comfortable walking shoes (you'll cover 5–8 km), sun protection, a refillable water bottle, and enough cash or cards for meals and incidentals | | Getting there | Meeting point is typically at a central station (often Shibuya, Asakusa, or Shinjuku). Confirm exact location when booking; most are 10–20 min from major hotels by metro | | Accessibility | Shibuya and Asakusa have busy stairs and crowded stations; Meiji Shrine has gravel paths. Discuss mobility needs when booking for route adjustments |
