Meet & Check-in — TOKYO VIDEO GAMERS (meeting point)
Meet your driver and crew, complete a safety briefing, sign required acknowledgements, and confirm vehicle assignment. Staff will run through vehicle features, local road rules, and night-driving safety before departure.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive 5–10 minutes early to complete check-in and ID verification.
- Bring your passport (or a photo) as identification if requested by the operator.
- Wear closed-toe shoes and clothing suitable for getting in/out of performance vehicles.
AUTOBACS Shinonome — quick specialist stop
Short stop at AUTOBACS Shinonome to see a major automotive superstore, view parts and accessories, and enjoy a quick look at customization options. Time allotted for photos and a quick walk-through only.
Tips from local experts:
- Keep personal items secure; brief stops mean vehicles may stay locked during short visits.
- If you want photos of specific cars or parts, note them quickly to the guide — this stop is brief.
- Restroom facilities are available inside AUTOBACS; use them during this stop if needed.
Daikoku Parking Area — car-culture meetup stop
Arrive at Daikoku Parking Area to experience one of Japan’s most famous car meet locations. Time for viewing gathered cars, photography, and soaking in the atmosphere.
Tips from local experts:
- Follow your guide’s directions for where to park; Daikoku PA can be busy and has designated meet areas.
- Use low-light camera settings for night photography; bring a tripod or stabilize your phone against railings.
- Respect car owners’ space—ask before photographing individuals inside private vehicles.
Photo stop — Tokyo Tower viewpoint
Short photo opportunity to capture Tokyo Tower illuminated at night from a nearby viewpoint or pull-off. This is a quick stop; entry to Tokyo Tower is not included.
Tips from local experts:
- This stop is a quick photo opportunity only — there is no included entry to the observation decks.
- Keep personal lights and flashes minimal to avoid disturbing other visitors and drivers.
- If you need extra time for photos, tell your guide; they will advise if an extended stop is possible within the route.
Drive-through — Shibuya Crossing & C1 loop
Final driving segment includes a run through central expressway loops and a drive-by/through Shibuya Crossing area to experience the neon energy of the city at night. Opportunity for photos from safe pull-offs while the vehicle is stationary.
Tips from local experts:
- Stay seated and follow the guide’s instructions during urban driving; do not attempt to exit in busy intersections.
- If you plan to get out for photos, wait for the guide to indicate a safe, permitted pull-off area.
- Noise levels can be high around Shibuya at night; keep valuables secure and be mindful when opening vehicle doors.
