Itinerary
Day 1
Meet at Scandinavian Travel Group / Safarimarket (pick-up point)
Gather at the meeting point for check-in. Your Elf-guide will confirm names and handle boarding to the transfer vehicle. Please arrive ready with warm clothing and any child notes (allergies or special gift requests).
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive 10 minutes early to check in and store bags; meeting address: Keskuskuja 2 B 3, 99130 Sirkka.
- Dress in layers and have gloves and hat ready — evening temperatures in Levi can be very cold in winter.
- Notify staff in advance if a child has food allergies or special gift requests so the guide can pass information to the Elves.
Short transfer from Levi center to Santa's hideaway
A short drive (about 10–15 minutes) from the meeting point into the nearby forested hideaway where Santa's historical cabin is located. On private-option bookings, children may take a short reindeer sled (bookable only on request) while adults follow on foot.
Tips from local experts:
- The transfer is short but can be bumpy; keep young children seated and dressed warmly during the ride.
- If you have a stroller, fold it before boarding; space on the transfer vehicle is limited.
- Photographs from the transfer windows are possible — keep camera batteries warm to preserve charge in cold weather.
Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus: live interaction, photos & gingerbread workshop
Over one hour of family-focused activities inside Santa's historical cabin: meet Santa with Rudolf the reindeer and an Elf; private child chats with Santa (sit on Santa’s knee, whisper wishes); group song together; gingerbread-making workshop led by Mrs. Claus with baking, decorating and Elf-wrapping; glögi (non-alcoholic) served; every child receives a secret gift.
Tips from local experts:
- This cabin is a historical wooden building and is not wheelchair accessible—plan accordingly for mobility needs.
- Gingerbread may contain common allergens (wheat, eggs, dairy). Tell the guide about allergies before the workshop.
- Photography is allowed throughout the program; bring a small torch or keep phone batteries warm for better low-light photos.
Return transfer to Scandinavian Travel Group / Safarimarket (end of program)
Short transfer back to the meeting point in Levi center where the program ends. Staff will assist with any last-minute photos or questions and confirm drop-off arrangements.
Tips from local experts:
- Expect to arrive back at the meeting point within 15 minutes from the hideaway; keep outer layers on for the short walk between vehicle and building.
- Collect any wrapped gingerbread and gifts before leaving the cabin so nothing is left behind.
- If you requested a private program option (reindeer sled for children), confirm pick-up/drop-off logistics with your guide in advance.
